Playing Experience: Coach Thomas was a top ranked junior tennis (Sponsored by Wilson), baseball and soccer player. High School: Sectional / Regional Champions (Soccer and Tennis) and State Runner up (Tennis). As captain of his club soccer team, they won the State Cup in 1996 (runners up in 1995). After a season at Division 1 UCF, he transferred to Marietta College to play for two seasons. After a year off, he switched sports and finished his collegiate career as a nationally ranked member of the Shepherd University Tennis Team. There he won three conference championships (2 Individual Titles and a Team Title). Playing only two seasons, he compiled 74 wins and an 80%-win percentage. His team competed in the D2 National Tournament in 2002.

Coaching Experience: Thomas has coached a variety of sports, clinics, camps, and teams to include tennis, volleyball, and soccer. He was also a certified Tennis Pro. Recently he coached the Moultrie Middle Volleyball A Team as well as the CASC Cougars in the National League South Carolina that were offered promotion into the Piedmont League.
